COLEMANITE, mine de bore de Gharah Gol Comté de Dandi Mahneshan Province de Zanjan Iran (miniature)
La colémanite , de formule chimique Ca₂B₆O₁₁·5H₂O ou encore CaB₃O₄(OH)₃·H₂O, est un minéral boraté que l'on trouve généralement dans les dépôts d'évaporites des milieux lacustres alcalins. Ce minéral secondaire provient de l'altération du borax et de l'ulexite. Identifiée pour la première fois en 1884 près de Furnace Creek, dans la Vallée de la Mort, elle fut nommée en l'honneur de William Tell Coleman, propriétaire de la Harmony Borax Works où elle fut découverte. Fait intéressant, Coleman avait initialement suggéré le nom de « smithite » en hommage à son associé, Francis Marion Smith.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
