La cyanite est un minéral aluminosilicate bleu que l'on trouve couramment dans les pegmatites métamorphiques riches en aluminium et les formations sédimentaires. Elle constitue le polymorphe de haute pression de l'andalousite et de la sillimanite, sa présence dans les roches métamorphiques témoignant généralement d'un métamorphisme profond au sein de la croûte terrestre. Également appelée disthène ou cyanite, la cyanite présente une forte anisotropie, c'est-à-dire que sa dureté varie selon l'orientation cristallographique, une caractéristique essentielle qui, avec sa teinte bleue distinctive, constitue un élément d'identification majeur. Le nom « cyanite » dérive du grec ancien κύανος, qui signifie « bleu foncé ».

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
