Un spécimen très rare et ancien provenant de la carrière de Lengenbach.
La sartorite est un sulfure de plomb et d'arsenic de formule chimique PbAs₂S₄, principalement présent dans la carrière de Lengenbach, dans le Binnental (valais), en Suisse. On la croyait initialement isomorphe à la chalcostibite, à l'emlectite et à la zinckénite ; cependant, elle a été clairement différenciée de ces minéraux en 1939. Le nom « sartorite » rend hommage à son découvreur, Sartorius von Walterhausen (1809-1876). Ce minéral se rencontre principalement dans les gisements hydrothermaux associés à la dolomie.

For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
