La rhodochrosite est un carbonate de manganèse de formule chimique MnCO₃. Rarement présente à l'état pur, elle arbore généralement une teinte rose-rouge, bien qu'elle puisse également se présenter dans diverses nuances allant du rose au brun clair. Ce minéral laisse une trace blanche et sa dureté Mohs se situe entre 3,5 et 4,5. Sa densité est comprise entre 3,45 et 3,6. La rhodochrosite cristallise dans le système trigonal et présente une structure et un clivage caractéristiques du système rhomboédrique des carbonates.
La sphalérite, un minéral métallique gris, réagit fortement aux rayons UV à ondes longues et devient orange.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
