Adamin ist ein Mineral, das aus Zinkarsenat-Hydroxid besteht, mit der chemischen Formel Zn2AsO4OH. Es kommt häufig in den oxidierten oder verwitterten Zonen oberhalb von Zinkerzlagerstätten vor.
Obwohl reiner Adamin farblos ist, zeigt er aufgrund des Vorhandenseins von Eisenverbindungen oft einen gelben Farbton. Zusätzlich können grüne Schattierungen beobachtet werden, die auf Kupfer-Substitutionen in seiner Struktur zurückzuführen sind. Olivenit, ein Kupferarsenat, weist eine isostrukturelle Beziehung zu Adamin auf, und es gibt eine signifikante Substitution zwischen Zink und Kupfer, die zur Bildung eines Zwischenprodukts, bekannt als Cuproadamin, führt. Kürzlich identifiziert, ist Zincolivenit ein weiteres Zwischenmineral, das durch die Formel CuZn(AsO4)(OH) gekennzeichnet ist, und die Struktur kann auch Substitutionen von Mangan, Kobalt und Nickel aufnehmen. Darüber hinaus wurde ein verwandtes Zinkphosphatmineral namens Tarbuttite dokumentiert.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
