Klinoklas ist ein wasserhaltiges Kupferarsenat-Mineral mit der chemischen Formel Cu3AsO4(OH)3. Dieses seltene sekundäre Kupfermineral bildet typischerweise nadelförmige Kristalle in den verwitterten Zonen über Kupfersulfidlagerstätten. Es zeichnet sich durch seine glasartigen, durchscheinenden Kristalle aus, die einen dunkelblauen bis dunkelgrünlich-blauen Farbton aufweisen, sowie durch traubenförmige Massen. Klinoklas gehört zum monoklinen Kristallsystem (2/m), hat eine Härte von 2,5 bis 3 und eine relative Dichte von 4,3. Es wird oft in Verbindung mit Mineralien wie Malachit, Olivenit, Quarz, Limonit, Adamit, Azurit und Brochantit gefunden.
Klinoklas wurde 1830 in Cornwall, England, erstmals identifiziert und ist auch in Broken Hill in New South Wales, Australien, gefunden worden. Es ist mit Kupfererzlagerstätten in mehreren US-Bundesstaaten verbunden, darunter Arizona, Kalifornien, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada und Utah. Zusätzlich wurde es in verschiedenen Ländern entdeckt, darunter Frankreich, Deutschland, die Tschechische Republik, Österreich, Rumänien, Russland und die Demokratische Republik Kongo. Klinoklas ist auch unter dem alternativen Namen Abichit bekannt, wobei seine Typlokalität die Wheal Gorland Mine in St Day, Cornwall, Vereinigtes Königreich, ist.

For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
