Gold, dargestellt durch das chemische Symbol Au (abgeleitet vom lateinischen Wort Aurum) und mit der Ordnungszahl 79, ist ein chemisches Element. In seinem reinen Zustand erscheint es als helles, leicht orange-gelbes, dichtes, weiches, schmiedbares und duktiles Metall. Als Übergangsmetall und Mitglied der Gruppe 11 wird Gold zu den Edelmetallen gezählt und ist für seine geringe Reaktivität bekannt, wodurch es das zweitwenig reaktive Element ist. Unter Standardbedingungen bleibt es fest.
Gold kommt typischerweise in seiner reinen Form als Nuggets oder Körner in Gesteinen, Adern und alluvialen Ablagerungen vor. Es kann in festen Lösungen mit Silber (bekannt als Elektrum) existieren und ist oft mit Metallen wie Kupfer und Palladium legiert sowie in Mineraleinschlüssen wie Pyrit zu finden. Zusätzlich kann es in mineralischen Verbindungen, insbesondere solchen, die Tellur enthalten, bekannt als Goldtelluride, vorhanden sein.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
