Gold ist ein chemisches Element, dargestellt durch das Symbol Au, abgeleitet vom lateinischen Wort „aurum“, und hat die Ordnungszahl 79. In seinem reinen Zustand erscheint es als helles, leicht orangerot-gelbes Metall, das dicht, weich, formbar und dehnbar ist. Als Übergangsmetall und Mitglied der Gruppe 11 wird Gold zu den Edelmetallen gezählt und ist bekannt für seine geringe Reaktivität, wodurch es als zweitunreaktivstes Element gilt. Unter Standardbedingungen bleibt es fest.
Gold kommt typischerweise in seiner nativen Form als Nuggets oder Körner in Gesteinen, Adern und Schwemmlandvorkommen vor. Es kann in festen Lösungen mit Silber, bekannt als Elektron, existieren und wird oft mit Metallen wie Kupfer und Palladium legiert sowie in mineralischen Einschlüssen wie Pyrit gefunden. Zusätzlich kann es in Mineralverbindungen, insbesondere mit Tellur, als Goldtelluride vorkommen.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
