Magnetit ist ein wichtiges Eisenerzmineral, das durch die chemische Formel Fe2+Fe3+2O4 gekennzeichnet ist. Als eines der Eisenoxide weist es ferrimagnetische Eigenschaften auf, was bedeutet, dass es von Magneten angezogen wird und selbst zu einem Permanentmagneten magnetisiert werden kann. Abgesehen von extrem seltenen gediegenen Eisenlagerstätten ist Magnetit das magnetischste natürlich vorkommende Mineral auf der Erde. Natürlich magnetisierte Magnetitfragmente, bekannt als Magneteisenstein, waren ausschlaggebend für die frühe Entdeckung des Magnetismus durch antike Zivilisationen, da sie kleine Eisenobjekte anziehen konnten. Dieses Mineral erscheint typischerweise schwarz oder bräunlich-schwarz, besitzt einen metallischen Glanz, hat eine Mohs-Härte im Bereich von 5 bis 6 und erzeugt beim Kratzen einen schwarzen Strich.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
