Neptunit ist ein Silikatmineral, das durch die Formel KNa2Li(Fe2+, Mn2+)2Ti2Si8O24 gekennzeichnet ist. Es bildet eine Reihe mit Mangan-Neptunit, wenn der Mangangehalt zunimmt, während Watatsumiit eine Variante ist, bei der Vanadium Titan in der Zusammensetzung ersetzt. Neptunit wurde erstmals 1893 im Narssârssuk-Pegmatit in Westgrönland identifiziert und kommt auch in Natrolithadern innerhalb von Glaukophanschiefer im San Benito County, Kalifornien, sowie in Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, und auf der Kola-Halbinsel in Russland vor. Das Mineral leitet seinen Namen von Neptun, dem römischen Meeresgott, ab, aufgrund seiner Verbindung mit Ägirin, benannt nach Ägir, der skandinavischen Meeresgottheit.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
