Plumbogummit ist ein seltenes Mineral, das zu den sekundären Bleiphosphatmineralien gehört und Teil der Alunit-Supergruppe, genauer gesagt der Crandallit-Untergruppe, ist. Diese Untergruppe umfasst weitere Mineralien wie Crandallit, bei dem Calcium den Platz von Blei einnimmt, und Goyazit, der Strontium anstelle von Blei enthält. Ein weiteres Mitglied ist Philipsbornit, bei dem die Arsenatgruppe die Phosphatgruppe ersetzt. Plumbogummit wurde erstmals 1819 identifiziert und erhielt seinen Namen 1832, abgeleitet von den lateinischen Wörtern „plumbum“ (Blei) und „gummi“ (Gummi), aufgrund seines Bleigehalts und seines manchmal gummiartigen Aussehens.
Pyromorphit ist ein Mineral, das aus Bleichlorophosphat mit der Formel Pb5(PO4)3Cl besteht und in ausreichenden Mengen als Bleierz gewonnen werden kann. Er bildet typischerweise Kristalle, die eine hexagonale Prismenform aufweisen, oft mit Basisflächen abgeschlossen und gelegentlich mit schmalen hexagonalen Pyramidenflächen versehen. Fassförmige Kristalle sind ebenfalls relativ häufig, ebenso wie kugelige und nierenförmige Aggregate. Als Mitglied der Apatit-Mineralgruppe ähnelt Pyromorphit in seinen physikalischen und chemischen Eigenschaften stark Mimetit (Pb5(AsO4)3Cl) und Vanadinit (Pb5(VO4)3Cl), was eine Unterscheidung ohne chemische Analyse erschwert.

For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
