Rhodochrosit ist ein Mangancarbonat-Mineral, das durch die chemische Formel MnCO3 gekennzeichnet ist. Obwohl es selten in seiner reinen Form vorkommt, weist es normalerweise eine rosenrote Farbe auf, kann aber auch in verschiedenen Schattierungen von Pink bis Hellbraun erscheinen. Das Mineral hinterlässt einen weißen Strich und hat eine Mohs-Härte von 3,5 bis 4,5. Sein spezifisches Gewicht liegt zwischen 3,45 und 3,6. Rhodochrosit kristallisiert im trigonalen System und weist eine Struktur und Spaltbarkeit auf, die dem rhomboedrischen Karbonatsystem entsprechen.
Das graumetallische Mineral Sphalerit reagiert stark auf langwellige UV-Strahlung und wird orange.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
