Shigait ist ein extrem mineralhaltiges Gestein, das durch die chemische Formel NaAl3(Mn2+)6(SO4)2(OH)18·12H2O gekennzeichnet ist und typischerweise in Form kleiner sechseckiger Kristalle oder zarter Überzüge vorkommt. Es wurde erstmals 1985 in der Präfektur Shiga, Japan, identifiziert, und seine chemische Zusammensetzung wurde 1996 erheblich überarbeitet, wobei Natrium als bisher unerkannte Komponente entdeckt wurde.
Shigait erscheint als sechseckige, tafelige Kristalle, die Größen von bis zu 2 cm (0,79 Zoll) erreichen können, oder als dünne Filme und Überzüge. Das Mineral weist eine Reihe von Farben auf, darunter Gelb, gebranntes Orange, Braun und Schwarz. Es wird häufig in metamorphisierten Manganerzlagerstätten gefunden und dient als Mn2+-Analogon von Motukoreait.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
