REALGAR and UNKNOWN MINERAL, Lengenbach Quarry Fäld Binn Goms Valais SWITZERLAND (micro, miniature)

A very rare and older specimen from the Lengenbach Quarry.

Sometimes a specimen, especially from quarries like Lengenbach, has not (yet) been identified. This might be the case currently, but when acquired (1988) this specimen displays a metallic, unknown mineral. Lengenbach's mineral specialists could not tell at that time what we were looking at. Unfortunately, it is only visible under the microscope.

There are multiple other minerals like Dufrenoysite and Smithite present.
