Quarz ist ein robustes kristallines Mineral, das aus Siliziumdioxid besteht. Seine Struktur besteht aus einer kontinuierlichen Anordnung von SiO4-Silizium-Sauerstoff-Tetraedern, wobei jedes Sauerstoffatom zwischen zwei Tetraedern geteilt wird, was zur chemischen Formel SiO2 führt. Diese Klassifikation ordnet Quarz strukturell den Gerüstsilikatmineralen und kompositorisch den Oxidmineralen zu. Er ist nach Feldspat das zweithäufigste Mineral in der kontinentalen Erdkruste.
Sphalerit, ein Sulfidmineral mit der chemischen Formel (Zn, Fe)S, dient als primäre Zinkquelle. Dieses Mineral kommt in verschiedenen Arten von Lagerstätten vor, vorwiegend in sedimentären Exhalationen, vom Mississippi-Valley-Typ und in vulkanogenen Massivsulfid-Formationen. Es ist häufig mit Mineralen wie Galenit, Chalkopyrit, Pyrit sowie Calcit, Dolomit, Quarz, Rhodochrosit und Fluorit assoziiert.
Pyrit, auch bekannt als Katzengold, ist ein Eisensulfid mit der chemischen Formel FeS2, auch als Eisen(II)-Disulfid bekannt. Es ist das häufigste Sulfidmineral, das in der Natur vorkommt.
Manganoan Calcit, auch bekannt als Manganocalcit, ist eine manganreiche Calcitvarietät, die eine rosa Färbung aufweist. Seine chemische Zusammensetzung wird durch die Formel (Ca,Mn)CO3 dargestellt. Ursprünglich im Bergbaugebiet Banská Štiavnica in der Slowakischen Republik identifiziert, ist dieses Mineral weltweit zu finden, mit bemerkenswerten Vorkommen in der Höhle der Schwerter in Naica, Chihuahua, Mexiko, und in Bulgarien.
Aufgrund ihrer Ähnlichkeiten kommt es oft zu Verwechslungen zwischen Manganoan Calcit und Rhodochrosit. Der Mangangehalt in Manganoan Calcit kann je nach Fundort variieren, und er existiert in einer Festlösungsserie mit Calcit und Rhodochrosit, wodurch mit zunehmender Mangan-Konzentration eine tiefere rote Farbe entsteht.

For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
