WAVELLIT, HALBINSEL KRIM, UKRAINE (small cabinet)
Wavellit ist ein Mineral, das aus basischem Aluminiumphosphat besteht, dargestellt durch die Formel Al3(PO4)2(OH, F)3·5H2O. Während ausgeprägte Kristalle selten sind, erscheint es typischerweise als durchscheinende grüne Aggregate, die entweder radial oder sphärisch sind. Das Mineral wurde erstmals 1805 in High Down, Filleigh, Devon, England, identifiziert und von William Babington zu Ehren von Dr. William Wavell benannt, einem Arzt und Naturforscher aus Devon, der seine Bedeutung für die mineralogische Gemeinschaft hervorhob. Wavellit findet sich häufig zusammen mit Crandallit und Variszit in Spalten von aluminiumreichen metamorphen Gesteinen, insbesondere in hydrothermalen Umgebungen und Phosphatgestein-Lagerstätten, mit bemerkenswerten Vorkommen in der Mount Ida-Region der Ouachita Mountains in Arkansas.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
