La cérusite , également appelée carbonate de plomb ou minerai de plomb blanc, est un minéral caractérisé par sa composition chimique en carbonate de plomb (PbCO₃) et constitue une source importante de plomb. Le terme dérive du latin « cerussa », qui signifie plomb blanc. Les premières mentions historiques de ce minéral remontent à 1565, lorsque Conrad Gessner évoque la « cerussa nativa ». En 1832, F.S. Beudant introduit le nom de « céruse », tandis que l'appellation actuelle, cérusite, a été établie par W. Haidinger en 1845. Les premiers mineurs l'appelaient couramment spath de plomb ou minerai de plomb blanc.

For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
