Morganite, a captivating gemstone belonging to the beryl family, exhibits shades of orange and pink. It is sourced from various locations, including Brazil, Afghanistan, Mozambique, Namibia, the United States, and Madagascar.

Since 2010, its popularity has surged, with many brides and media outlets like CNN suggesting it as a stylish alternative to traditional diamond engagement rings.

The name "morganite" was introduced by George Kunz during a New York Academy of Sciences meeting in December 1910, in honor of his friend J.P. Morgan, who was a significant patron of the arts and sciences and a notable gem collector. Morganite is also referred to as pink beryl, rose beryl, pink emerald, and cesian beryl.
