Aggregates of thick crystals of Vanadinite (arsenical variety), Pb5([V,As]O4)3Cl
of chocolate-brown color, with lighter shades in some crystals, and with a little matrix. A truly old Moroccan classic from Jebel Mahseur, Jerada Province, Oriental Region, Morrocco.
Named for Dr. F. M. Endlich ( Reading, Pa., June 14, 1851; died in Tucson, Ariz., July 17, 1899), Superintendent of the Sierra Mines at Lake Valley, New Mexico
