Blödit, auch bekannt als Blödite, ist ein hydratisiertes Natrium-Magnesium-Sulfat-Mineral, das durch die Formel Na2Mg(SO4)2·4H2O gekennzeichnet ist. Dieses Mineral erscheint typischerweise klar bis gelb, oft mit dunkleren Farbtönen aufgrund von Einschlüssen, und kristallisiert in einer monoklinen Struktur.
Die erste Beschreibung von Blödit stammt aus dem Jahr 1821, als es in einem Salzvorkommen im Ischler Salzberg, Bad Ischl, Gmunden, Österreich, identifiziert wurde. Es wurde zu Ehren des deutschen Mineralogen und Chemikers Karl August Blöde (1773–1820) benannt.[3][4]
Blödit kann weltweit in evaporitischen Sedimentgesteinen gefunden werden, einschließlich des Großen Salzsees in Utah.
Halit ist auch als "Steinsalz", NaCl, bekannt.

Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
