Cylindrit ist ein Sulfosalz-Mineral, das aus Zinn, Blei, Antimon und Eisen besteht und durch die Formel Pb3Sn4FeSb2S14 dargestellt wird. Es kristallisiert typischerweise in einer triklinen pinakoidalen Struktur und erscheint oft als röhrenförmige oder zylindrische Formationen, die im Wesentlichen gewalzte Blätter sind. Das Mineral weist einen metallischen Farbton auf, der von Schwarz bis Bleigrau reicht, eine Mohs-Härte zwischen 2 und 3 und eine spezifische Dichte von 5,4. Es wurde 1893 in der Mine Santa Cruz im Departamento Oruro in Bolivien entdeckt. Sein Name spiegelt die charakteristische zylindrische Form seiner Kristalle wider, eine seltene Eigenschaft unter Mineralien.

Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
