Datolith wird als Calciumborhydroxid-Nesosilicat mit der chemischen Formel CaBSiO4(OH) klassifiziert. Er wurde 1806 von Jens Esmark entdeckt, der seinen Namen von den griechischen Wörtern δατεῖσθαι, „teilen“, und λίθος, „Stein“, ableitete, was die körnige Struktur des Minerals widerspiegelt.
Dieses Mineral kristallisiert im monoklinen System und bildet prismatische Kristalle und knollige Formationen. Es weist einen glasartigen Glanz auf und kann in verschiedenen Farben erscheinen, darunter braun, gelb, hellgrün oder farblos. Datolith hat eine Mohs-Härte von 5,5 und eine spezifische Dichte von 2,8 bis 3,0.

For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
