Gips ist ein weiches Sulfatmineral, das aus Calciumsulfat-Dihydrat besteht und durch die chemische Formel CaSO4·2H2O dargestellt wird. Es wird umfassend als Dünger gewonnen und dient als Hauptbestandteil in verschiedenen Produkten wie Putz, Trockenbauplatten und Kreide für Schultafeln oder Bürgersteige. Darüber hinaus kann Gips zu lichtdurchlässigen Selenitkristallen kristallisieren. Er bildet sich typischerweise als Evaporitmineral oder als Hydratationsprodukt von Anhydrit. Nach der Mohs’schen Härteskala für Minerale wird Gips mit einer Härte von 2 eingestuft, was seine relative Weichheit im Vergleich zu anderen Mineralien anzeigt.

For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
