Halit, oft auch als Steinsalz bezeichnet, ist eine natürliche Mineralform von Natriumchlorid (NaCl). Es kristallisiert in einer isometrischen Struktur. Obwohl Halit gewöhnlich farblos oder weiß ist, kann es auch in verschiedenen Farben wie Hellblau, Dunkelblau, Lila, Rosa, Rot, Orange, Gelb oder Grau erscheinen, beeinflusst durch die Anwesenheit anderer Materialien, Verunreinigungen und strukturelle oder isotopische Variationen innerhalb der Kristalle. Dieses Mineral wird häufig zusammen mit anderen Evaporit-Mineralien gefunden, darunter verschiedene Sulfate, Halogenide und Borate. Der Begriff „Halit“ stammt vom altgriechischen Wort für „Salz“, ἅλς (háls).

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
