Malachit ist ein Mineral, das aus Kupfercarbonathydroxid besteht und durch die chemische Formel Cu2CO3(OH)2 dargestellt wird. Dieses opake Mineral weist charakteristische grüne Bänder auf und kristallisiert im monoklinen System. Es bildet sich typischerweise in botryoidalen, faserigen oder stalagmitischen Formen in Brüchen und unterirdischen Umgebungen, wo das Vorhandensein von hydrothermalen Flüssigkeiten und des Grundwassers die chemische Ausfällung erleichtert. Während einzelne Kristalle selten sind, können sie als schlanke oder nadelförmige Prismen auftreten, und es werden auch Pseudomorphosen gefunden, die eher tafel- oder blockförmigen Azuritkristallen ähneln.

For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.

Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
