Malachit ist ein Mineral, das aus Kupferkarbonathydroxid besteht und durch die chemische Formel Cu2CO3(OH)2 dargestellt wird. Dieses opake Mineral weist charakteristische grüne Bänder auf und kristallisiert im monoklinen System. Es bildet sich typischerweise in botryoidalen, faserigen oder stalagmitischen Formen in Rissen und unterirdischen Umgebungen, wo das Vorhandensein von hydrothermalen Flüssigkeiten und der Grundwasserspiegel die chemische Ausfällung erleichtern. Einzelne Kristalle sind zwar selten, können aber als schlanke oder nadelförmige Prismen auftreten, und auch Pseudomorphosen, die eher tafelförmigen oder blockigen Azuritkristallen ähneln, sind zu finden.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
