Poldervaartit, umbenannt in OLMIIT, ist ein außergewöhnlich seltenes Mineral, das erstmals 1992 in der Wessels-Mine in den Kalahari-Manganfeldern der Provinz Nordkap, Südafrika, identifiziert wurde. Seine chemische Zusammensetzung wird durch die Formel (CaMn2+)2(SiO3OH)(OH) dargestellt, wodurch es als Calcium-Mangan-Silikat-Hydroxid mit einem Molekulargewicht von 197,68 Gramm klassifiziert wird. Bis heute sind die Wessels-Mine und die nahegelegene N'Chwaning-Mine die einzigen bekannten Vorkommen dieses Minerals. Poldervaartit weist ein spezifisches Gewicht von 2,91 g/cm³ und einen Brechungsindex zwischen 1,634 und 1,656 auf und wird als biaxial (+) kategorisiert. Da die Mehrheit seiner Kristalle zum Facettieren ungeeignet ist, gilt es als sehr seltenes Edelstein und weist Farben auf, die von farblos bis zu einem hellen Orangerosa reichen.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
