Prehnit ist ein natürlich vorkommendes Silikatmineral, das als Inosilikat klassifiziert wird, mit der chemischen Formel Ca2AlAlSi3O10(OH)2. Gekennzeichnet durch seine hellgrüne bis blasse Farbe, kann Prehnit transluzente oder transparente Eigenschaften aufweisen. Dieses Mineral kommt hauptsächlich in Australien vor, insbesondere in den Wave Hill-Lagerstätten des Northern Territory und an verschiedenen Orten in Westaustralien.
Prehnit bildet sich typischerweise in Adern und Hohlräumen innerhalb basischer magmatischer Gesteine, insbesondere in amygdaloidem Basalt, und ist auch in metamorphen Gesteinen vorhanden. Es ist oft mit anderen Mineralien wie Natrolith assoziiert. In Australien wird Prehnit häufig als Knollen in Basalt eingebettet gefunden, mit bemerkenswerten Vorkommen in Wave Hill, Westaustralien und einigen Regionen von New South Wales.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
