La cordiérite, également appelée iolite en gemmologie, est un cyclosilicate composé de magnésium, de fer et d'aluminium. Elle contient généralement du fer et présente une solution solide entre la cordiérite riche en magnésium et la sékaninaïte riche en fer, représentée par la formule de la série : (Mg,Fe)₂Al₃(Si₅AlO₁₈) à (Fe,Mg)₂Al₃(Si₅AlO₁₈). Un polymorphe de haute température, l'indialite, partage une structure avec le béryl et présente une distribution aléatoire d'aluminium au sein des cycles (Si,Al)₆O₁₈. La cordiérite est synthétisée pour des applications à haute température, notamment les pots catalytiques et les pierres à pizza.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
