A very rare and older specimen from the Lengenbach Quarry.

GORCEIXITE, BaAl₃(PO₄)(PO₃OH)(OH)₆

White, colorless, green or brown, may be mottled; colourless in transmitted light.

<sub>Named in 1906 by Eugen Hussak in honor of Claude Henri "Henrique" Gorceix (1842 Saint Denis-des-Murs, Haute Vienne, France - September 6, 1919, Paris, France), professor at Ecole des Mines in Paris, France. Invited to be the first Director of the School of Mines at Ouro Preto, Brazil (1874-1891).
