Dieses außergewöhnliche Exemplar hat einen äußerst seltenen Fundort. Auf der Rückseite sind feine Wulfenitkristalle sichtbar (mit einer 10-fach Lupe), die Galena ersetzt haben, wobei die Form von Galena erhalten blieb. Dies ist wahrscheinlich das einzige Exemplar, das auf den Markt kam.
Wulfenit ist ein Mineral, das aus Bleimolybdat besteht und durch die chemische Formel PbMoO4 dargestellt wird. Dieses Mineral bildet sich typischerweise als dünne, tafelige Kristalle, die eine lebendige Farbpalette von leuchtendem Orangerot bis Gelborange und gelegentlich Braun aufweisen, obwohl seine Färbung erheblich variieren kann. Die gelbe Variante wird manchmal als „Gelbbleierz“ bezeichnet.
Es kristallisiert im tetragonalen System, oft in kurzen, pyramidalen oder tafeligen Formen, und kann auch in erdigen, körnigen Aggregaten gefunden werden. Wulfenit wird häufig in verschiedenen Regionen gefunden, typischerweise als sekundäres Mineral in den oxidierten Zonen von Bleierzlagerstätten, und dient als sekundäre Molybdänquelle, was es zu einem begehrten Exemplar für Mineralsammler macht.

If your item arrives damaged, we kindly ask that you provide a short, continuous video showing the specimen from at least six angles. You can simply hold it in your hands and gently rotate it while filming. Please also include a clear view of the package label in the video so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
For all items reported as damaged or broken, we do require the item to be returned to us before a refund can be processed.
Return shipping costs are initially the responsibility of the customer. However, if your claim is approved after review, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs.
